I’m currently a user experience designer at Outward Inc., a subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma! I’ve had the opportunity to touch everything from conducting user research, to creating user flows and wireframes, to creating pixel perfect visual designs. Here are a few of the projects I’ve worked on. Some details of my work cannot be shared publicly, but feel free to reach out to learn more about my work.
Floor & Decor is a specialty retailer that focuses on helping homeowners and professional contractors design their perfect home surfaces— flooring, walls, countertops, etc. As the lead designer on this project, I collaborated with PM’s and engineers across Outward as well as Floor & Decor to design the end to end experience for a surface visualization application.
Room Planner is an application that exists across all Williams-Sonoma (WSI) brands. Customers at home and designers in-store can design and visualize room plans to create their dream rooms. To access help, users have to email customer support. This is not the most convenient way to get help, especially if it’s a just a simple question. As the lead designer on this project, I designed the entire experience for a Help Center website that would allow users to get help more self-sufficently and quickly.
Monogramming and personalizing products can add a special touch to any item. It is a key point in sales for WSI. I designed an application that would allow production designers to easily create the monogram styles that customers would be able to then use to personalize their products.
